Fatima: tips for future volunteers

Tips for future volunteers:

Tips for packing/ to do before coming:
- Be aware of the cold weather (bring warm clothes), but be careful because inside there are heaters so it is very warm
- Bring your swimsuit (in winter you will need it to go to the sauna)
- If you have one, bring a reflector (you will need to use one in the winter)
- Bring shoes/slippers for use at home
- Bring a music box (if you have one)
- Bring your medications (if you take special medications)
- Read in advance about Cigna insurance and try to understand it before you need medical treatment

Tips while living in Narva:
- Make a loyalty card at your supermarket to earn points
- Make an online account at Apollo (the cinema) to get discounts
- Listen to Russian music and try to understand some words
- Watch movies / TV shows with Russian subtitles
- In Vitatiim you can borrow some interesting books or games
- Try Kohuke, Kalev chocolate, Kali (root beer) and brown bread

- Go for a long walk and discover the city
