I’m Mert from Türkiye, and I’m excited to be spending the next nine months in Narva, Estonia as part of the Vitatiim team!
My journey in youth work has taken me across many countries, and now Estonia is the next chapter. I’m here to gain new experiences, contribute to impactful projects, and connect with amazing people who share a passion for making a difference. From leading workshops to organizing cultural exchanges, my aim is to bring people together and foster positive change. This opportunity will let me grow personally and professionally while exploring Estonia’s culture and beautiful landscapes.
Outside of work, my hobbies are a big part of who I am! I love challenging myself with jigsaw puzzles, which is both relaxing and rewarding. Cooking and baking let me explore flavors and share a bit of my Turkish roots with others. I’m also passionate about staying active through swimming, hiking, and traveling —there’s something refreshing about discovering new places and learning from different perspectives. These hobbies keep me balanced and energized, ready to dive into each new adventure Estonia has to offer!
