asking. If you don't already know me, my name is Alex. I’m Greek and I'm volunteering as a youth
worker in Narva-Jõesuu Noortekeskus.
This is the first of the many (probably) story diaries that will give you the opportunity to take a glimpse in my life here as a volunteer in Estonia.

So if I should share something with you that will probably give you an insight of how do I function as a person that would probably be the fact that I really enjoy exploring and having new experiences!!
One of the ways that I usually succed that is by travelling to new places and seeing new things, which in that case I’m doing also here in Estonia! I haven't travelled to a lot of places, but I hope that this will change in the coming months...
If I should mention one place that I really had the chance to explore and see recently that could be Tartu. Everything about that city is great. The architecture, the alternative cafes-bars and restaurants, but most of all the people that live there. That is because Tartu is the student capital of Estonia and of course that means that it has a lot of students from all over Estonia, but also from all over the world. That gives you the chance to meet and getting to know a lot of people from all kinds of different backgrounds and that for me is one of the best things about Tartu.
Except for exploring new places and having new experiences, I also love meeting and talking with new people!
