Beyond Labels: Mental Health Awareness
The main aim of the "Beyond Labels: Mental Health Awareness" project is to empower youth, especially those with fewer opportunities (geographical, economical, educational barriers) and Ukrainian refugees, to become active citizens and entrepreneurs in the realm of mental health. The project seeks to reduce stigma, promote understanding, and foster supportive environments, aligning with the priorities of active citizenship, sense of initiative, and social entrepreneurship.
Objectives:
- To educate youth and communities on mental health issues, debunk myths, and reduce stigma;
-To encourage youth, especially those facing barriers(economical, geographical, educational etc,) and Ukrainian refugees to take initiative in mental health advocacy and lead community-based projects;
-To deliver comprehensive mental health education to youth, youth workers, and the broader community;
-To develop and promote safe and supportive spaces for mutual understanding and discussion about mental health issues. -To connect youth and youth workers and Encourage them to take leadership roles in creating inclusive, stigma-free environments within their communities.
-To share good practices at European Level and strengthen transnational cooperation with partner organisation.
