"Summer for volunteering" is European Solidarity Corps project that will gather 12 young people in Narva to volunteer for the local community through a group volunteering project.

The project aims to contribute to the local community development by the joint work of local and foreign volunteers for Narva town and local youth.
The objectives of the project are:

- To create inspiring and empowering experience for local and foreign volunteers in order to support their learning, development and willingness to help;
- To create interactions between participants of the projects and local community for to increase sense of solidarity and cultural sensitivity;
-To increase positive attitude and support to cultural diversity in Ida-Virumaa community through experience of working, living and learning together with international volunteers;
- To support development of young people's key competences, both participants of the project and people with whom they will interact, especially such as cultural awareness and expression, sense of initiative, creativity and entrepreneurship, social and civic competence.

After group volunteering project young people still able to participate in short-term and long-term projects

This volunteering project is open for young people with fewer opportunities, namely
- with little or no experience in travelling abroad;
- with low level of foreign language skills;
- with a low level of school education and/or vocational training which is in some way an obstacle to full participation in society;
- with (personal or family) migration background;
- with economic difficulties or in NEET situation
What to bring

medication (anti-allergy pills, pain killers, aspirin etc. if you need such)
other items that you personally consider necessary to carry with
small musical instruments or other relevant materials or objects for common evenings

Narva is the third largest city in Estonia. It is located at the eastern extreme point of Estonia, by the Russian border, on the Narva River which drains Lake Peipus.
Population: 62 000 inhabitants, 93% are Russian-speakers

In Estonia the power sockets are of type F. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz

Participants will be accommodated in the hostel Sparta in rooms for 3 or 4 people
Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
