HEAR.ME
Helping Empower Active Rights: Making Europe Listen

The aim of HEAR.ME is to strengthen children’s rights and meaningful participation by creating safe, inclusive, and sustainable mechanisms that enable children and adolescents to actively influence decisions affecting their lives.
HEAR.ME is a Slovak–Estonian cooperation project focused on empowering children aged 13–18 to participate in democratic life at local and European levels. The project develops and strengthens child participation structures—such as children’s parliaments, school-based consultations, and dialogue with municipalities—using a child-rights-based and trauma-informed approach. Special attention is given to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, refugee communities, and ethnic or linguistic minorities.
